De zomer staat weer voor de deur, en er kan weer volop buiten geskate worden. Ook springen de nieuwe skateparken in Nederland weer als paddenstoelen uit de grond. Zo werkte Mud Crew de afgelopen weken aan dit ”tijdelijke skatepark” in Enschede. Een kleine plaza waar voor iedereen wel iets te vinden is. Welk obstakel zou jij graag willen zien in jouw local skatepark?
Eindelijk is de winter voorbij, en kunnen we in Nederland weer genieten van de goede skateparken die ons land rijk is. Vooral de skaters uit Zaltbommel kunnen hun geluk niet op dit jaar… Zij starten de lente met mega vers skatepark dat de crew van SkateOn Skateparks er tijdens de koude wintermaanden neer heeft geknald. Wij hadden de eer om de eerste sessie vast te leggen, waarbij Douwe Macare, Jelle Maatman, Djai Marchena en de bouw crew zelf het park alvast goed onder handen namen.

Na een lange stille winterperiode lijkt het skateboard seizoen weer te beginnen. Met dit jaar een klassieker om het allemaal af te trappen, namelijk de ”Pola Contest” bij Skatepark de Fabriek in Enschede. Met skaters vanuit het hele land was het weer een succesvolle editie en zagen we opnieuw een zeer hoog niveau skateboarden. En dit jaar geen Douwe Macare, maar local Bert Wilmink die er met de eerste plek vandoor ging!

Rambo Crew ‘Buckwild’ is one of the most anticipated skateboard movies in the Netherlands. The Rambo Crew consists mostly out of Burnside team members and friends. After more than 5 years collecting footy they finally started editing. Today we show you the part of Jelle Maatman and Ruud Garst.

It’s not that often that you come up to a spot like the one in the picture. Somewhere north in the Netherlands is a place with a shitload of scrap metal. We went there with Jelle Maatman and shot this picture.

Jelle Maatman was stoked from the start when we asked him for our first Minute Man video. Between his studies and tight schedule he managed to skate the Skatepark of Amsterdam with us. The result is a nice video with big tricks. Amsterdam is a bang bang city!
